About the job
- A management mind - know the knack of managing people and tasks for satisfactory results.
- A process-driven approach is needed. From planning the project timeline to its execution setup, you are in charge of making sure the project is completed and delivered on time.
- Know your people. In order to plan a project, you will need to collaborate with respective leads for resource allocation & execution.
- A quick-on-feet thinking approach to deal with changes/challenges in project scope, schedule, goals, and cost - on both team and client levels.
- Update performances & progress of resources & projects with the project management tools.
- Maintain good relationships with the clients - every project is an opportunity to bring in more business. See that and build that possibility.
- Be in touch with the mentors - they are there to solve your problems or challenges whenever something is going good or bad.
- Be on the ground to understand and keep track of the project deliverables in order to meet the set goals in time.
- Be a risk-taker - project management is not for the light-hearted, after all. Implement risk management wherever and whenever necessary to minimise potential risks.
- Befriend spreadsheets, PPTs, and documents - maintenance of them will keep your projects running smoothly.
- You don’t a management degree to be a Project Manager - just bring your graduation qualifications - could be in any field.
Requirements & Skills
- 1-2 years of experience as a project/program manager in a software development company.
- Experience in managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience in agile or other project management methodologies.
- Highly organised, proactive and multi-tasking skills
- Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
- Ability to operate in a very fast-paced, constantly changing and evolving environment.
- Above all, the candidate must have an outstanding work ethic, should be results-driven and have a strong passion to contribute to the company's vision and mission.
Salary: £45000-£50000
